Oh, shuddering aching heart,
You dwell in uncertain times.
The stock market is like yo yo continually going up and down,
Causing my face to dolefully frown.
Jobs are being lost one by one,
People are left unemployed after the day is done.
Experiencing decreases in 401 K and other needed money,
Oh, this is not silly or funny.
These are time for some people to sit down and shed a few tears,
To express their anxiety and fears.
People on the top are taking what is not theirs,
Oh, that is dishonesty in every way.
God please listen to our heart felt prayers,
we look for your wisdom, good counsel, kindness and love,
And blessings from high above.
So Dear God, please heal the bleeding nation,
and embrace her in deep consolation.
We know that you are always there,
Embracing us as we hug in in prayer.
