Dear Addison,
Now as David said; Your Word is a lamp to
my feet and a light to my plath. For the
word of the LORD is right, and all His work
is done in truth. ( Psalms 119:105 & 33:4 )
After all it is written; For the word of God is
living and powerful, and sharper than any
two-edged sword, ( Hebrews 4:12 )
Therefore , today we will take a look at some very
interesting facts about God's Letter to us, The Holy Bible!
What is the shortest chapter in the Bible?
Answer - Psalms 117; with only 2 verses!
What is the longest chapter in the Bible?
Answer - Psalms 119; with 176 verses!
Which chapter is in the center of the Bible?
Answer - Psalms 118
There are 594 chapters before Psalms 118.
There are 594 chapters after Psalms 118.
Add up the 594 plus 594, and you get 1188.
Now what is the center verse in the Bible?
Answer - Psalms 118:8
It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put
confidence in man. ( Psalms 118:8 )
Now I ask you, does this verse say something significant
about God's perfect will for our lives? Well yes, indeed it
does!
So the next time someone says they would like to find
God's perfect will for their lives, or that they want to be in the
center of His will, just send them to the center of His Holy
Word, for the answer will be found there!
