November is a month laden with joy and festivity, With fun, good food, rememberances and mirthfull times shared with friends and family. The cold winds begin to howl and loudly blow, Standard time decreases the sunshine's golden glow. Runners compete in the marathon and run all about, As bystanders and supporters cheer and merrily shout Veterans are saluted and applauded on the Eleventh of November We appreciate and honor them for their noble deeds and in prayer we pay homage to them and remember. . We must vote on Election Day, For that is the American way. Thanksgiving is a time for all to give thanks to our God with love and prayer, For food, family, freedom, joy and God's tender loving care. November begins to show winter's cold face, As we are tightly enfolded in winter's frozen embrace So, my dear friends, all I can optimistically say, Is for you to make the most of each of November's 30 days.
