~For burnt on coffee in the coffee pot, place at least a half dozen ice cubes and about 1/3 cup of salt into the pot (after it's cooled down). Swish the pot around, using the ice and salt as an abrasive to scrub the burnt-on coffee away.

Make notes of allergies, preferences, etc. for a quick look up prior to your next dinner party. ~Threading a needle will be a bit easier by spraying the tip of the Thread with hairspray to stiffen it a bit. ~Clean a painted wall easily by applying furniture polish and buffing it well. ~Here's an easy conversion for oven recipes to crock pot recipes: If the "oven" recipe calls for 15-30 minutes of cooking time, cook in a crock pot on low for 4-8 hours or on high for 1 1/2-2 1/2 hours. For 30-60 minutes of "oven" cooking time, cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. For 1-3 hours of "oven" cooking time, cook on low for 8-16 hours or on high for 4-6 hours. ~Place a rubber sink mat on the seat of a high chair to prevent sliding. ~Apply white vinegar on a cloth then rub salt stains off shoes.
