Subject: reformatted poem: Winter's Wrath

Oh old man winter displays such a mighty wrath,
Piling mountains of snow and ice in the storms' aftermath.
Sleet falling in pellets causing us to slip and slide,
The rules of walking slowly and safely we must abide.
Powerfully howling winds gust all about,
Annoying us with a hostile shout.
Days are short and nights are bitter cold and long,
We are lonely for the beautiful mirthful melodies of the bluebirds' optimistic
reassuring song.
Skies are gray possessing a dour depressing frown,
Spirits are low and feelings are down.
Trees are bare lacking little green leaves
Heavy garments we wear and sweaters with bulky long sleeves

Winter's wrath, certainly does not evoke a warm golden glowing reassuring smile,
but we will have to bear it for awhile.
God in His wisdom gives us each season,
He knows when they begin and end and plans for all of the reasons.
So hang in there my dear friend with me.
The best is yet to be.
