Sean, you first have to purchase the RealSpeak voices. Once you've done that
and installed it, they will appear as "ScanSoft Daniel", for example. So
select that in the text to speech combo box of the Speech Properties
dialogue box and press enter to save your changes. iTunes will now generate
the spoken menus using both the text to speech engine and its rate. Hope

How do I get the real speak to work on the IPOD? I can't find it in all

minus. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place? I never saw anything that
said download speech and a checkbox when I was installing things.
