Hello to all, We took the doves to the vet today or rather Todd did. Cody and Princess are in fine shape. Our little gandalf is not though. He came home with an elizabethan collar on and two meds. He has been picking at himself and gotten himself very infected. Please pray for him? it was 190 dollars for three birds so pray too for our finances? I had no idea that Gandalf was that bad! My stars... if I had known... I would have taken him right away to the docs. Please pray for this little baby who went crazy in his cage when Todd brought him home. He kept throwing himself down in the cage. he kept just trying to get that collar off. How long is he supposed to wear that collar? they taped in on him. the scary thing is that I don't even know how it comes off and don't understand what they mean by, "it's just a snap assimbly." Anyone who knows me knows my fear of being trapped and that transfers to being afraid for my animals when cage doors refuse to open. Before I hit the pannic button I call Todd over to help me. I'm trying not to think too hard or long about Gandalf being trapped in that stupid collar. I'm wondering what he's thinking of if it will further make him go crazy. I pray not.
