Winter unfortunately is a season full of woes,
As wind chills and low temperatures cause us to freeze from our heads to our
toes.
Heating systems need repair,
When they are not fixed promptly, we are full of despair.

Winds gust everything and toss them all around,

As it howls in a very angry sound.
Snow falls and creates large mountains to climb,
Oh, how we crave and long for the warm golden springtime sunshine.
Skies are overcast and dark,
Life often is so lazy lacking ambition and spark.
Rain freezes on the ground,
Creating a slip slide sound.
Electricity or power may be out,
In the cold darkness, families bicker and shout.
Computers do not work well,
That indeed is not swell.
For winter is a season so unpleasant, mean and wears a sad frown,
Many are snowbound, or in their homes, bored and feeling down.
All, we can do,
Is to dream of skies that are of a beautiful sunshiney blue.
