Subject: A Greeting To The Month Of February

A Greeting To The Month Of February

Dear February, you are truly a unique month in every way,
giving us every four years an extra day.
Lovers rejoice on Valentine's Day,
showing appreciation in a very special romantic way.
They send cards, flowers and chocolate candy,
that makes life fine and dandy.
February is a time to pay homage to our Presidents in a laudatory way,
as we remember their deeds and the words that they did eloquently say.
We must not forget the groundhog hurriedly come onto the winter scene,
trying to unravel the mysteries of nature's puzzling scheme.
Children frolic in the soft white snow, enjoying a snowball fight,
and we enjoy more and more daylight.
You are transition from harshness of winter to pleasantness of spring
in the distance we can hear the joyful birds flapping their wings.
For the springtime sunshine they will bring,
as we are enchanted by the sweet melodies they delightfully sing.
