Hi. Well, I got the power wheelchair I needed--the manual chair really plays
havoc with arthritic shoulders/hands. Anyway, I didn't know till last night
that their whole idea was for me to just use the chair inside the building
unless I have someone to walk with me. The problem is, I don't have people to
go with me everywhere.They claim it's a liability issue if I take the chair
outside. I really need some ideas here. In my way of thinking, I'm more
unsafe in a manual chair because I can't guide it adequately, where with the
power chair I can use my cane. HELP!
