The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock!
Exalted be God, the Rock, my Savior!
( 2 Samuel 22:47 *NIV )
Dear Addison,
God is indeed our "Rock." He is there for us in times of
trouble for; God is our refuge and strength, an
ever-present help in trouble. ( Psalms 46:1 )
For; The Lord is good, a refuge in times of
trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him.
( Nahum 1:7 )
When we are fearful we can call on Him for; This is
what the Lord says, He who created you, "Fear
not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned
you by name; you are mine. When you pass
through the waters, I will be with you; and when
you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep
over you. When you walk through the fire, you
will not be burned; the flames will not set you
ablaze ( Isaiah 43:1-2 )
When we slip and sin we can still be forgiven for; Lord
our God is merciful and forgiving, even though
we have rebelled against him; ( Daniel 9:9 ) For
the Lord your God is a merciful God; He will not
abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant
with your forefathers, which He confirmed to
them by oath. ( Deuteronomy 4:31 )
So Addison, Turn your cares over to Him
and; Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord,
the Lord, is the Rock eternal. Amen! (Isaiah 26:4)
