-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Subject: reformatted Poem : Mother's Birthday Date: Sat, 20 Jun 2009 18:28:03 -0400 CC: [email protected] When my mother was living among us on this earth, With joy, smiles, hugs and kisses, we lovingly celebrated her birth. With a cake of delicious strawberry and cream, My mother would be so elated and her smile would glow and beam. With plenty of embraces, Those sweet caresses adorned her beautiful angelic face. Singing to her in a sweet tone, Calling her on her special day on the phone. Those ties were so strong, majestic precious and so dear, Now since my mother is no longer physically here, On her birthday I am nostalgic and shed an occasional tear. Her birthday is celebrated in an entirely different way, Kind words in tribute and sweet cheerful thoughts about her, I express and say. Celebration is spiritual as you can plainly see, My mother will forever be a blessing to me.
