GOD'S CPR
Do you know some of God's secrets?
The person who looked like a human continued, "At that time Michael, the
great commander, will stand up on behalf of the descendants of your people. It
will be a time of trouble unlike any that has existed from the time there
have been nations until that time. But at that time your people, everyone
written
in the book, will be rescued. Many sleeping in the ground will wake up. Some
will wake up to live forever, but others will wake up to be ashamed and
disgraced
forever. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness on the horizon.
Those who lead many people to righteousness will shine like the stars forever
and ever.
"But you, Daniel, keep these words secret, and seal the book until the end
times. Many will travel everywhere, and knowledge will grow."...
He replied, "Go, Daniel. These words are to be kept secret and sealed until
the end times. Many will be purified, made white, and refined. But wicked people
will do wicked things, and none of them will understand. Only wise people
will understand."
Daniel 12: 1-4, 9-10
God does not want His people to be ignorant - even women! The problem isn't
that God withholds knowledge from us. The problem is that we aren't interested
enough to draw near to Him and receive the knowledge!
Several years ago God taught me that there are angels and demons in charge of
territories. Now, this wasn't a new revelation. If you really get in the Word
you will find it to be true. This is just one of the passages He used to show
me that truth, the book of Daniel is full of them. However, I had to be in
tune with Him to receive the knowledge He was so willing to supply!
God allowed a few people to see what the end times would look like and Daniel
was one of them. God even moved Daniel to write some of the things down so
that centuries later we would have access to the knowledge and pass it on to
people who may never open the book.
Another truth God shared with Daniel was the fact that Heaven and hell are
real and that what we do with the knowledge God gives us will be reviewed. How
else could He determine that some will shine as bright as the sky and others
like stars? Yet, even though God allowed Daniel to share that with us there
were some things that remain a mystery!
I guess the thing God pointed out to me most was the fact that as we go
through events such as September 11, not everyone will understand what's
happening!
He told Daniel that, "Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined by these
trials. But the wicked will continue in their wickedness, and none of them
will understand. Only those who are wise will know what it means." Are you
among the wise many whom God is doing CPR on? Are you being purified, cleansed,
and refined by your trials? Are you allowing Him to turn your woes to wows?
Father, we praise You for Your intimate involvement in our lives! We thank
You for loving us so much that you want to make us better and not bitter by
refining
us with Your tough love and tender grace! We don't want to run around looking
for knowledge Lord, we simply want to sit at Your feet and soak it up. Please
anoint us with the power we need to accomplish Your will for each day! We
love You Lord. Now, help us love You more!
