As I was sitting calmly and rather still, a sound thuddered and was so harsh and shrill. Interrupted was my silence's calm, I experienced a feeling of impending harm. The wind was whistling an angry roar, Pounding upon windows and doors. Rain was heavily gushing and flooding in torrents so deep, Cats and dogs began to howl and weep. Lightning's flashes were crackling like an extension cord on fire, Thunder crashed noisely in a raging manner that did not cease or tire. Such a beast like storm of great power we did encounter, sorry to say, Which spoiled a once sunny beautiful summer's day. written by: Cynthia Groopman -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NEW mobile Hotmail.
