November Memories By: Cynthia Groopman Oh, November has so many memories for me, They dance in my mind frequently. Election day is vital for a democracy, When we participate in governmental selection annually. Veterans who have given so much to preserve freedom's precious light, Are praised with honor, glory and are sacred and beloved in God's sight. Being grateful to the Lord above, Enables us to celebrate Thanksgiving with the ones we cherish and love. Thinking of my dear parent's wedding day, 63 years ago, caresses my heart with a sweet soft memory golden glow. Moving in a large apartment complex fifty/nine years ago, when we were only two years of age, Leads me down memory lane as I savor each cherished memorable page. The day when President Kennedy was brutally killed makes me cry, I sadly recall that day with a full heart and many tears in my eyes. Receiving awards and blessings, made me strong, As I basked in victory's golden sunshine song November 7, 2003 indeed was the most sorrowful day for me, As I cried incessantly. For dear mother departed from this earth to her eternal home, I felt motherless sad and alone.
