A Fond Farewell to a Friend so Dear
By: Cynthia groopman
A fond farewell to Doris, our friend so sweet and dear,
Always spreading and exuding smiles, laughter, kindness and lots of cheer.
A person who truly loves and cares,

Always willing to lend a helping hand and ready to light a religious candle in
thoughtful heartfelt prayer.
Since the end of 1995 so many moments of my life you did share,
During times of sadness and triumphant joyful moments, you were always ready to
help and were always there.
A loyal, active and participant member of my senior center groups were you,
A generous, compassionate and affable lady through and through.
May God bless and protect you as your new living arrangements you will embark,
May deep into your heart and soul, may He kindle His sacred light and Divine
holy spark.
For Doris, dear, you are truly a precious priceless gem, more treasured than
all the silver and the gold,

May all of your fondest dreams come true, and may you touch the rainbow in the
sky, as your life continues like a spring flower, to flourish an regally unfold.
