hello, Dad had a cancerous lump removed from his neck. The doctors have removed his lemph nodes and thyroid on one side of his neck. Please pray for him. We suspect that it is the medullerary cancer which isn't nearly as curable as the other two cancers.there are four thyroid cancers and two that are easily treated but because this medulerary one deals with the C cells, it's not as treatable. then there is another one that is not very curable at all. Tara suspects, from the signs that she has seen in Dad and from her research that he has the medullerary cancer. We know it's cancer that he had removed but that's all we really know. Please say a prayer for my Father. He will have an MRI done on his other side to determine what's happening to him. He can barely talk and his throat is sore. He's still in the hosbital. I guess he had the surgery Tuesday instead of wednesday which totally surprised Tara. dad Told her that it would be Wednesday. He said that it should be just an in and out surgery but that they would be holding him an extra day due to his heart condition. Dad said that if the surgery went four or five hours that it would probably be cancerous.
Lois, our step mom calls Tara to tell her about Dad's surgery results. she said that she didn't know if it was cancer. Tara asked how long the surgery took and Lois said it took about 5 hours or something like that. so, they are trying to hide the truth so we won't worry. Then the doctor called back and let Lois know that Dad did have a cancerous lump removed along with the thyroid and limph nodes. So, that's a real yucky thing to happen. Please pray for us. Tara was reading about it and there could be a gynetic factor in it. Please, please pray for my Dad's salvation. I really would like to see him get saved before he goes home to be with the Lord. My Dad already has heart problems and has A-fib. I really would like my mom, Julian to be saved as well. I love them both but they won't really tollerate me doing much witnessing to them. So, pray that someone can really speak to them. I don't want my Daddy to die before he has the chance to get saved. My own concerns about my health as I get older and painful procedures are kicking in. I'd rather that I not have to go through that. I am major doctor phobic and needle phobic. I'm thinking about poor Dad and how can he stand all that. so pray for him to be comforted.
