THE GLORY IN HIS CREATION

The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the sky displays what his hands have made.
Psalm 19:1

Amen! These words always bring to mind some songs from Handel's Messiah. So, I
turned to Isaiah 40 and realized God was guiding me to give you words of
hope today. Isaiah 40:26 says, "Look at the sky and see. Who created these
things? Who brings out the stars one by one? He calls them all by name. Because
of the greatness of his might and the strength of his power, not one of them is
missing." Okay, that is great, but hold on - the best is yet to come!

Isaiah 40:29-31 is what I needed, "He gives strength to those who grow tired
and increases the strength of those who are weak. Even young people grow tired
and become weary, and young men will stumble and fall. Yet, the strength of
those who wait with hope in the LORD will be renewed. They will soar on wings
like eagles. They will run and won't become weary. They will walk and won't
grow tired." Amen! Oh, how we all need these words now, in the rush and hurry
of Christmas.

Isaiah 42:7-9 is awesome, "You will give sight to the blind, bring prisoners
out of prisons, and bring those who live in darkness out of dungeons. I am
the LORD; that is my name. I will not give my glory to anyone else or the
praise I deserve to idols. What I said in the past has come true. I will reveal
new things before they happen."

God has told us the future. Everything He promised us has come into being
concerning the Messiah - except one, and we hold onto that promise! He will
return!
He will ride across the sky on that majestic white horse! Lift up your eyes
children of God - your redemption draweth nigh!

Wherever you are, whatever you are doing - there is hope! In three days Jesus
descended to hell, ascended to heaven and returned in glorious form. If your
skies are gray, look up He can and will turn them clear blue again. Wait on
Him! Your heart will again praise Him, you will again find hope, and the
darkest,
coldest hour is truly just before dawn!
