A Soft Embrace
By: Cynthia Groopman
Oh, soft embrace,
How I long for you.
For the warmth of healing and sparkling sunshine glows comfort my lonely aching
heart.
Oh, soft embrace,
How I crave for that tenderness renewing my strength and serenity.
For no longer am I amid sorrowful thoughts and isolation,
But my heart dances to a mirthful tune of sparkling exquisite elation.
Oh, soft embrace,
Where can I find you?
In a baby's little hand so small cute and new.
In God's eternal love so lovely and radiant,

By touching an elegant flower so delightful and fragrant.
By being lovingly enfolded in to the calming reassuring arms of a dear friend,
With smiles, joy and gladness she always sends.
Oh, soft embrace,
Even without you,
Thinking optimistic thoughts my weary heart and aching soul will be renewed.
For soft embrace, you are embodied in God's clasping my hand gently with
sweetness so dear.
Adorning my sky of life with blue skies and sparkling glistening sunshine full
of majestic cheer.
