Subject: reformatted poem: Shine On

Shine On
By: Cynthia Groopman
When the sky is cloudy or dark,
Shine on with God's holiness glowing spark.
When the days are lonely and sometimes there is no flower of radiant hope,

Shine on, glow of optimism helping us to smile and to cope.
When father time drags on and the hands of life's clocks do not move,

Shine on, dreams and rainbows, placing me into the happiness groove.

When loneliness crosses my life's path,
Shine on queen of mirth, filling my heart with song in loneliness's aftermath.
When the winter blues have laden doleful frowns on many chilly faces,

Shine on springtime wishes and warmth enfolding me into an
optimistic renewal embrace.

When I speak to the Lord in earnest heartfelt prayer,
Shine on, glorious God of mine, gently caressing me,

in loving tender care.
