Be faithful, even to the point of death, and
I will give you the crown of life.
              ( Revelation 2:10 *NIV )

 Dear Addison,
There are many times in this life when our faith is put to the
test. Times that we may even feel that God has abandoned us
because a prayer isn't answered the way we want it to be.
Know that it is written; though now for a little while,
if need be, you have been grieved by various trials,
that the genuineness of your faith, being much
more precious than gold that perishes, though it is
tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and
glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
 ( 1 Peter 1:6-7 )

Also know that sometimes what we pray for isn't God's will
for us thus; This is the confidence we have in
approaching God: that if we ask anything according
to His will, He hears us. ( 1 John 5:14 )

You see Addison, sometimes what we pray for would actually
hurt us in the long run, and our Heavenly Father is protecting us
 from that.  Other times we just can't understand God's ways for;
No one knows the thoughts of God except the
Spirit of God. ( 1 Corinthians 2:11 )

However, we do know He loves us very much, and would never
abandoned us or deliberately hurt us. So we must keep our faith
knowing that God is with us and that no matter what happens
 He is in control!

Therefore it is important that; We walk by faith, not
by sight. ( 2 Corinthians 5:7 ) trusting that God knows
what is best for us, even if a prayer isn't answered the way we want
 it to be! Amen.

  All My Love & Prayers,
       Pastor Allen
