You shall love the Lord your God with all
your heart, with all your soul, and with all
your strength.
( Deuteronomy 6:5 *NIV )
Dear Addison,
It is very easy to love the Lord with all your being
when you think about how much He loves each of us.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one
and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall
not perish but have eternal life. ( John 3:16 )
Further, Jesus Christ said; Greater love has
no one than this, that he lay down his life for his
friends. You are my friends if you do what I
command. ( John 15:13-14 )
Therefore; we know and rely on the love God
has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives
in God, and God in him. ( 1 John 4:16 )
So it is only right to show God our love by worshiping
Him, for; the hour is coming, and now is,
when the true worshipers will worship the Father
in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such
to worship Him. ( John 4:23 )
So Addison, Come, let us bow down in
worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;
for he is our God and we are the people of His
pasture, the flock under His care. Amen.
( Psalms 95:6-7 )
