My Mother's Golden Words By: Cynthia Groopman My mother possessed words of gold, In everything she did, said and told. Her words were as soft as a gentle breeze, Sprightly dancing with bliss and melodic tones like the birds sweetly singing in their nests so high in the trees. Bathed in elation were her words, Never was a cruel hostile, negative remark expressed or heard. Her words were as inspirational as those expressed in a psalm or in a prayer, Comforting, reassuring, warm and sacred for her to share. Words of nostalgic memories, singing old time songs and seeds of optimism she shared with me, Oh, her words are etched forever in my heart, soul and memory. For my mother's words were golden gems of friendship, sunshine, smiles and everlasting hope, Nurturing me with the ability to successfully rise above adversity and to smile and to optimistically cope. thus, on this Mother's Day, my Mother's eternal flame of bliss and love will forever enrich and adorn and embrace my soul in a majestic tender way. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Deaf-Blind Inspirational Life Group" group.
