Being Grateful to those who so nobely gave
by: Cynthia Groopman
So grateful, all of us are to all armed forces who did nobely give,
Their lives, their youth, their hearts their souls so that our beloved nation
may continue to flourish and live.
With hearts full of pride we salute all of you,
For the valorous deeds actions and victories you have done to save the blessed,
red, white and blue.
To distant lands you were sent,
Many difficult times and in harm's way you so courageously spent.

You did not wince, or cry aloud,
You stood tall and made us all proud.
By land, air and by sea,
You protected our nations' dignity and preserved liberty.
Although you did sacrifice your life in the dangerous battles of raging cruel
war,
In our hearts we tenderly love you and in our memories your feats of great
bravery we cherish and adore.
In tribute and appreciation, we laud you,
For your loyalty, dedication, devotion and preservation of democracy you did
fight for say and do.

Our Heavenly Father is sheltering you under His warm loving wings,
As we praise you for everything.
