Where has the smile gone? By: Cynthia Groopman Once there was a smile so majestic and radiant, Like a springtime flower it was so elegant. It would beam on my face, Adorn my soul and heart with a warm exquisite embrace Lighthearted, jovial and carefree, I would feel, Oh, a sense of well being a tranquility I would reveal. Then the storm clouds did arrive, No longer did the smile flourish and thrive. It was like the autumn and winter season, When my glorious smile disappeared for an unknown reason. Now my face is sullen and I feel sad, To think that my smile suddenly disappeared makes me not feel glad. Where have you gone, dear smile of mine? I long and pray to once again bask in your warm bright glorious sunshine. Oh, smile, when I think of your loss, I begin to cry, Why did you suddenly say goodbye. Oh to me, smile please return, For your exquisite charm and majesty, I deeply yearn. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No infections found in this outgoing message Scanned by iolo System Shield® http://www.iolo.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Deaf-Blind Inspirational Life Group" group.
