Subject: Annoyances

Annoyances

Life is full of annoyances,
that bother me so very much.
They can be a startling noise, a grinding sound or an unwanted touch.
Thunder claps that are so loud roaring on a stormy night,
really are annoyances that have such power and might.
Harsh words that hurt my feelings,
are annoyances that are really unappealing.
When a door is slammed in my face,
I am tightly gripped in annoyances angry embrace.
When a frown is an unfriendly greeting,
I know that I shall have an annoying meeting.
With annoyances, I must learn to cope,
but sometimes I lack patience and am beyond hope.
All I ask is that annoyance disappear,
that my life would be tranquil again and not full of anguish and fear.
