Subject: Confusion

Confusion

Confusion is like the dark on enormous storm clouds
That opaques the dazzling radiant sunlight,
As my thoughts are laden with fear and fright.
I do not know what to do
Nor do I know where to turn,
Life is too unpredictable for me to discern
The war is fiercely raging,
And terrorist's threats invade our tranquil life stage,
Rapidly the weather changes from cold to warm,
And the morality fibers of society are becoming worn,
Unexpected plagues infest our bodies, causing us to become ill,
As unemployment and poverty leaves us
unable to pay the all important bill.
Oh, with confusion reigning in my heart, what can I truly say,
But to turn to God for help and to pray.
For God will open my mind and heart and show me the way,
For He is my shining light,
giving me strength, courage and hope to face each confusing day.
