Hi folks, thanks for your precious time, I am citing this old message by Matt,, thanks again for DBIx:Class( http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00081.html ), and i am wondering if someone has good news or knows something that could help me to "downgrade" DBIx::Class::Storage ANSI JOINs to Oracle 8i old join syntax, that is, joins in the WHERE CLAUSE. I really would love to avoid some programming hell as Matt suggested and i am not a Perl guru myself for sure, but i CAN'Tchange my Oracle 8 RDBMS. In the end i'll follow Matt's ideas if no other stuff has come out since last February (message timestamp). I am using last version of Catalyst environment + CGI::FormBuilder and now approaching to DBIx::Class and 'til now was quite happy but i made a "little" error in checking my DB, i was sure 9i would have been used but i found out 8i will be.OMG. Help needed :) Any suggestion?
You mean the =* syntax? Some crazy person just wrote a module to deal with that.. not sure if he's going to release it into the wild though.. I think it was dnm, or dwc.. on the IRC channel..
