Apologies, on the name. I'll take a look into a patch. The plan is just to make it an attribute "delayed => 1" and have that modify the SQL statement. Any objections to that approach?

There's no such project DBIx, it's called DBIx::Class. If you want to shorten
it, please use DBIC.

I don't think we do currently support that syntax though, I'd be happy to
take a patch if you wanted to have a go.
