I think the p5p intention is to wait until we can gather up as many of these post release issues as possible and ASAP get a 5.10.1 out the door that resolves them. So hopefully it shouldnt take too long. Regarding stubborness, well, the p5p folks did make quite an effort to get people to test and benchmark with the new release, and this never came up, so its not like we have been neglegent or anything.....
