Correct, since standard perl behaviour says there is only one key in a hash.

Assuming $attr->{join} is currently a string (if already arrayref then just 
push onto it):

  $attr->{join} = [$attr->{join}, 'mt'];
  $attr->{prefetch} = [$attr->{prefetch}, 'mc'];
  search($where, $attr});
