Hi everyone,
there's a new kid in town:
DbLinq now supports Firebird database, thanks to Julio César Carrascal
Urquijo.

Julio César, be welcome as a DbLinq contributor :)

And this is the time to remind a few links:
Google code page: http://code.google.com/p/dblinq2007/
Wiki at: http://linq.to/db
Ohloh statistics page: http://www.ohloh.net/projects/dblinq
Suggestions page: http://dblinq.uservoice.com

Please also note our combined effort with Mono team:
- We make DbLinq compatible with Linq to SQL strict documentation (hence the
System.Data.Linq.csproj in the solution: it shares files with all other
projects).
- Mono team contributes to DbLinq.

Finally, DbLinq will probably go beyond Linq to SQL implementation:
- Implement more efficient methods, such as real eager loading with
EntitySet<>, in a compatible way.
- Add some more methods (only available for DbLinq, not Mono).
- Of course, and you already know it, support tons of databases: MySQL,
Oracle, SQLite, PostgreSQL, SQLServer (just for fun), Ingres and now
Firebird.

Pascal.
