Thanks for the links, but I cannot use the first one - port 8080 -
because my
router is configured to block. ( I could reconfig, but don't want to)

What I did was to download both source & binaries from:

http://code.google.com/p/dblinq2007/downloads/list

The 2 dlls worked fine in the app, so with manual editing of the dbml,
I now have the the app working.

DbMetal still fails, but that is not an immediate problem so I will
pursue the issue at a later time.
