Does anybody know if DbLinq actually works on Ingres with anything other than using a Literal value?
All the examples I have seen and the methods I have tried will only allow a literal value in the WHERE clause of any select statement and whilst it is nice to know that it gets some data back, it would be so much better if I could read back data which was more dependant on user input. Can someone please provide an example or a link to an example of how to read data using a variable in the where clause that will work with Ingres as it is getting beyond me and my knowledge of Ingres.
