Hi All,
after a week of fixing bugs and creating migration scripts, RC 2 has
arrived. These are the changes:
* RC1 segfaulted on Linux, due to a stupid bug. This has been fixed
* The use of the sendmail program (for bounces and forwards) has
been changed to also work with SendMail (fix by Feargal Reilly)
* Paul J Stevens has written some migration scripts for MySQL and
PostgreSQL. The scripts are in the sql/ directories.
* The user account of the delivery chain user is now created using
the create tables scripts and migration scripts. The delivery chain now
uses a real username, instead of a user with user_idnr = 0, which was
very error-prone in the database.
* The python migration scripts have been removed, because they did
not work well. The SQL migration are a lot better. :)
Thanks to everyone for the bug reports and fixes!
Let's squash some more bugs next week, and we'll bring out RC3 or Final
next Friday!
