Description: When a message comes in with a recipient to be forwarded externally (i.e. deliver_to is an outside emailaddress), some time after dbmail-lmtp looks up the forward address but before it opens the pipe to the sendmail command, the sender address gets garbage chars added to the end of it and therefor makes sendmail behave badly. The problem manifests itself either by sendmail refusing to deliver, or sendmail interpreting the extra chars as extra recipient addresses. ======================================================================

It seems to come from the place where the from address is set. I'll go on searching from lmtpc. I'll have a good look.
