Have there been any changes to the auth functions in head? If I can rewrite ldap in head, with unit framework, and directly backport it to 2.0, that would be great. There's nothing stopping LDAP from working in 2.0, except for the non-functional LDAP code... and, indeed, I suspect it's less non-functional than it's accused of being, although I haven't tested it yet.
