Still, dbmail doesn't care about database filesize limits. That's strictly
between the database engine, the filesystem and the kernel. My guess is
you have run-time limits in place, most likely in your kernel (check
sysctl).

Please check section A.2.11 of the mysql manual.

If that doesn't help, try sending some detailed logs that illustrate your
problem.
