For my part the main hold-up for finishing 2.1.4 and hence 2.2 is the
new search/sort implementation as present in dbmail-mailbox.c. All the
parts are there and finished except for the merging of the results into
a single result set. I'm using GTree for this purpose but I'm hitting
some corruption in the result set as evident when running
chech_dbmail_mailbox.c. Once that is out of the way I can replace the
current search/sort setup with the new one, and thereby finish my last
major todo for 2.1.4.

Of course I can defer the new search code to a later release, but it is
still required for 2.2 imo.

Apart from the new search code, all that remains is general bugfixing,
cleaning up the modular setup, documentation, etc...

Yes. That's the other major todo for 2.2.
