I haven't checked to see if there's a newer version of the package on debian.nfgd.net, but version if you build dbmail from the source package version 2.1.6+20060529, the resulting .deb packages are incomplete. They're missing libdbmail.so*. The end result is that dbmail-util and friends, which wind up being linked dynamically against libdbmail.so*, will fail unless a previous version of dbmail was installed on the system.
This is also likely to cause people to see some weird bugs under Debian that they might not otherwise see, since it means that newer versions of the utils would be depending on an older version of libdbmail that was installed from a previous install. To fix this, you just need to add "/usr/lib/dbmail*" to debian/dbmail.install. -- Kevin Brown [EMAIL PROTECTED]
