Is there a timeline for STARTTLS?  The big concern is the inability to 
use pop-before-smtp with stunnel, since our environment relies on it
heavily.  This could be something for me to contribute to.

This isn't really that much of a priority for me since client support is
a whole other issue.  We're mostly using it for Web pages but would like
to move to a true single sign-on at some point.  Being able to add this
later (and knowing that it could be accepted so we don't have to maintain
our own fork) would be a big plus.
