Summary: Headervalue is not inserted for most emails, badly
breaks ThunderBird/Squirrelmail
Description:
Immediately after upgrading to 2.9 from the debian testing repository, I
started experiencing problems with message insertion. On pretty much 4 out
of 5 messages I get the errors listed in dbmail_2.9.log. This results in
both Thunderbird and SquirrelMail to display affected messages without any
subject information. If you open the email the subject is accessible as it
is still in the headers. The peculiarity is that it does not seem to
affect Outlook Express (probably a lucky violation of standards) so I did
not notice it until 2 days after. Downgrading to 2.2.7-1+b1 (again from
debian, packages dbmail and dbmail-mysql) solves the issue immediately.
