Could there be race conditions between different threads? I've a two core CPU.
A lot of the invalid reads and (all?) crashes were inside gmime library, so I first thought maybe the crashes are related to some specific mails. But that doesn't seem to be the case, since the crash happens even when using a single small test mail appended over and over again.
