"I created rules in my pigeon/perch Inbox to move some files to a more filterable location (a personal folder in fact). When I run this rules on the whole Inbox (instead for restricting to the unread messages) it screws up my Inbox : old emails headers starts to pop up with the current date. When I click on this artifacts emails, they simply disappear. Since they are a lot off them, to recover a sane situation, I need to delete the imap connection and recreate it..." ====================================================================== ---------------------------------------------------------------------- hinote - 19-Sep-08 23:07 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- hmm, who is [EMAIL PROTECTED] in your mailbox...? Igor, privet! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- hinote - 19-Sep-08 23:16 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > but I am still being asked to "fix it". so just fix it. kindly localize and fix it. it's an open source project, you're allowed to do such... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- m2000 - 19-Sep-08 23:30 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you ever so much for the first comment, which was irrelevant... and the 2nd which was snarky. Your input is highly appreciated and a check will be issued forthwith. Meanwhile, "fix[ing] it" requires understanding the root of the problem. I only know some about IMAP, and a lot less about the underlying code for dbmail (I understand most of the SQL parts, as they are relatively simple).
