Niki,

I've committed a partial fix for leakage in lmtpd. I use
test-scripts/testlmtp.py to stress-test lmtpd. That's a threaded lmtp
client I wrote myself to push this deamon.

Some minor leakage still remains it seems. I can't see where this is
coming from. Something subtle.

Hi Paul.

I have uploaded a new valgrind log after compiling with your fix.

The patch I have uploaded is based on the patch I uploaded for bug
http://dbmail.org/mantis/view.php?id=744,
where it doesn't belong, as it fixes a file descriptor leak in lmptd, not
imapd.

Any comment on this patch ?

Niki,

I see three sources of leakage in your logs. They align with the 'minor'
leakage I reported in my earlier comment.

Your logs are not very useful in themselves. I recognise the leakage from
my own logs. To produce more useful logs you should compile dbmail static
and with debugging symbols:

env CFLAGS="-g" ./configure --enable-static=yes --enable-shared=no ...
