It's correct Jesse, Dbmail.conf: sqlsocket = /var/run/mysqld/mysql.sock ..... (ops saw my error, I missed the "d") Yap: flecha:/etc# netstat -ln|grep -i mysql unix 2 [ ACC ] STREAM LISTENING 7168 /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock flecha:/etc# with libzdb this didn't gave any error and worked using 127.0.0.1, but yes, that's better, fault proof!
