thanks for starting a deb package.. I know a couple maintainers that could
get this uploaded, and start you on the process to officialy maintaining
this package.
you setup the dbmail-1.0 tarball to include all the patches.. you
should probably create a diff from the original dbmail-1.0 tarball
Roger, will do.
I built the unstable package source on sarge/testing on my sparc. Looks
ok so far. For some reason, when pop3d starts up.. I'm getting "too many
database connections"
Ah yes, I think it's because the default dbmail.conf sez:
NCHILDREN=50
Can you confirm it works when you tune that one down. Worked for me.
btw, I've only tested the pgsql build so far....

Following up on myself :-)
try this in y'r sources.list:
deb http://debian.nfgd.net/debian woody/
deb-src http://debian.nfgd.net/debian woody/
and/or:
deb http://debian.nfgd.net/debian unstable/
deb-src http://debian.nfgd.net/debian unstable/
This is my first ever publicly available debian package, so please be
gentle.
I've made a first stab at debconf. Database connections parameters are
now managed through
debconf.
Feedback and encouragement most welcome.
enjoy.
