Right, it should work but it doesn't always work. ( I may be getting this 
wrong, as it might be mail.app that messes up in this manner. Anyway, it's one 
of the onew I was testing at the time.) I'm not sure of the extent of the 
problem, but IIRC:

If I have a machine mail.foo.com, usernames of bar, [EMAIL PROTECTED], and 
[EMAIL PROTECTED] would work, but not [EMAIL PROTECTED]  The last one would 
just be sent as bar.

This is just a general pita to explain to people, so I found it easier to go to 
a - instead of an @.
