Hello Aaron,
As Lou said, I don't think it's appropriate to stop some kind of a
developing process only because it requires a lot of changes in the main DBMail
design (correct me if I'm wrong but as far as I've read the previous mail
archives, that was the main issue that's been discussed). Since there are
seemingly many people who wish to contribute to the dbmail project, including
me, I see it more as a matter of organization. On the other hand, I don't think
*any* kind of genetic algorithms or any other EA techniques are necessary, what
we need is just an algorithm to handle uniqueness & so. Moreover, don't forget
that if this finally succeeds, it will not only make dbmail a very robust mail
storage solution for a lot of enterprise companies , but also increase its
popularity among developers.Angel On Sat, 5 Apr 2003 07:20:53 -0800 (PST) Aaron Stone <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > This has been discussed at length on the mailing list; see the archives > for pertinent arguments on both sides.
