Check where the libmysqlclient.so is supposed to be:
ldd dbmail-imapd and check what's the name of the library..

most of the time it's looking for a different lib(i.e. libmysqlclient.so.11 let 
say), it
happens when you upgrade without fixing the lib dependencies.

can you post a ldd output of `ldd dbmail-imapd/pop3/whatever` ?
